Our Sponsors

1. THE MILLER FAMILY
(EDVENTURE PROJECT and DREAM INTENSIVE)
Our first sponsor is the coolest family I've (n)ever (actually) met.  Years ago I read an article about a family of 6 that traveled for a living.  Their goal was to spend as much time with their children as possible before they all grew up and moved away, as well as to learn about different places and people of the world.  When our family decided to do something similar, I looked up that old article and was lucky enough to track down this family online.  The Miller Family is in their 5th year of location independent living and they are currently out exploring Thailand.  You can follow their amazing family "edventures" at their website: HERE
(Beware: By following their story, you will undoubtedly contract an insatiable wanderlust)
Jennifer Miller is also one of the founders and mentors behind the Dream Intensive, a 12 week course on the logistics of living a full life by dreaming big and following through with those dreams.  I cannot recommend this course enough!  It has changed our family's life for the better and I know it can do the same for you, whatever your goals and dreams may be.  Find out how: HERE
A HUGE thanks to the Miller family for their sponsorship!

  2.  THE WENDLAND FAMILY

Our family has known the Wendlands for several years since we met at Ft. Hood, Texas during our active duty Army years.  They are a tight-knit family who truly enjoy each other and willingly share their friendship with everyone they come in contact with.  Sandra is hilarious and always makes me laugh. Her 3 little princesses are just about the same ages as my own children, and they became good friends when we lived close by.  Ben is an awesome dad and husband, and you can tell that his absence is felt deeply in their family when he's called away on deployments or trainings.
We haven't seen the Wendlands in almost a year, but we're hoping they'll meet up with us in Nashville for a day of sight-seeing fun!
Thanks Ben, Sandra, Emerald, Summer, and Silver for supporting our trip!

3.  THE GRIESMYER FAMILY

I must say, I have great friends!  We also met the Griesmyer family during our Army days at Ft. Hood.  Rebekah was one of the first people ever to babysit my oldest, Salem, when she wasn't even 2 yet.  At that time the Griesmyers had 2 little boys.  I watched their family go from having 2 boys to 3 boys to 4 boys.  And then, right when they moved away and left me, they had a baby girl! I can't wait to meet her someday, either.
Gary is a former CWO in the Army and Rebekah is an actress and children's theater director, and she also homeschools all those babies!  They are such a fun couple and I miss them like crazy!
Right now, their family is in the midst of their own life-changing adventure, so I feel honored to have them take the time to not only follow ours, but to be a sponsor as well. Thank you Gary, Bekah, Zech, Gabe, Ammon, Eli, and Emma!

4.  LARRY AND LORI CURTIS
These people are the best in-laws a gal could ask for.  They change diapers, they babysit at short notice, heck, they even clean my oven!  Larry tells me the best stories about his childhood days in New Jersey. Lori is always so thoughtful and sends little cards in the mail with checks for date night money.
One of my favorite parts about our time living in California was that we could drop in and visit them anytime we wanted to, a luxury we haven't had and probably won't have for a while.  We love you sosososo much Grandpa and Grandma!  Thanks for sponsoring our trip!

5.  TANYA MURPHY
I "met" Tanya during my 12 weeks in the Dream Intensive course.  She is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and inspiring person.  Tanya lives in Switzerland with her family.  She is a busy stay-at-home mom with 3 children.  A couple of years ago Tanya created a charitable organization in memory of her late sister, Zoe.  This organization, Zoe Sarojini Education Trust, links sponsors with African children, mainly girls, who need support in order to gain a good education and hope for their futures.  Currently the Zoe Trust sponsors 34 children.  I highly encourage you to take a look at her website, by clicking the link above or you can learn about the children who are already being sponsored by clicking HERE.
Tanya, thank you so much for your sponsorship!

6.  LEE COELLO

I also met Lee online during the Dream Intensive course.
Lee is an inspiring woman; a wife and mom who is currently traveling in Portugal and Spain.  She is a lifestyle management consultant who helps people figure out how to "become unencumbered" by things and situations that they've crowded their lives with, and helps them to instead create full, satisfactory lives.  Her blog (Becoming Unencumered) is lovely and she's working on some very exciting projects to go along with it.  Lee is kind, warm, and genuine.  I've enjoyed getting to know her.    You can check out her blog and learn more about her HERE.
Thank you, Lee, for your support!

7. MOLLY EGGLESTON

I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family!  Molly Eggleston is my darling grandmother-in-law.  She is kind, generous, and has a wonderful contagious laugh.  We have missed Molly so much while living on opposite sides of the country, but we look forward to our visits every time we're out in California.  Molly, thank you so much for your donation (and for the little treat for each of the kids!).  We love you!
